• The front office interviewed for the open managerial position in the last week. Terry Francona and Sandy Alomar both met with with the front office.
• On Saturday, it was reported that Francona would become the Indians’ next manager. The club is set to make an official announcement on Monday.

• Travis Hafner’s home run on Tuesday was the 200^th of his career as a Cleveland Indian. He has 201 career home runs.
• The Indians had the second highest winning percentage of one-run games in the majors with a record in those games with 24-12.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Shin-Soo Choo

Building of his success last week, Choo brought the 2012 season to a close on a good note. In a week when the Indians struggled to get hits, Choo had a hit in each of the three games, to help give the Tribe a chance. On Tuesday, he had a home run.
