Christmas season is here and Cleveland Indians fans can look ahead to Tribe Fest to keep up with the team in the offseason.
If you’re a Cleveland Indians fan like me, the offseason is the worst time of the year.
Yes, it is holiday season, but nothing beats baseball. I have yet to find a valid argument against that point.
Without any games to watch and after a season that ended in frustrating action, the best thing fans can do is look ahead to 2018. While pitchers and catchers reporting to Goodyear usually signals the start of the season, there is another event to give fans a taste of Indians baseball in the middle of winter.
Tribe Fest takes place on January 20 of next year, and will now take place at the Cleveland Convention Center.

I am not writing about this event to promote it or demand you go, I just genuinely think it is a fun event to attend if you are an Indians fan.
I went this past offseason and was able to get some autographs, which is something I hadn’t done since I was a little kid screaming at the players on the field during warmups.
Tribe Fest is also fun because it brings Indians fans together in January, a time when the Browns season is over and Indians baseball is right around the corner.
Everyone is excited, except for a few crying infants, and players are in attendance in what is a cool environment.

There is no better way to get excited about the upcoming season, because there is no possible chance the team can lose at Tribe Fest. It’s all fun and smiles, and perhaps even Mr. Smile himself will be there.
