The good news continues as the Cleveland Indians have officially activated Andrew Miller after he spent nearly three weeks out with an injury.
Andrew Miller has returned!
The bullpen ace is finally back after he hit the disabled list at the beginning of the month.
HIs return is exciting, although the announcement does come with news of another injury.
It's time.

Abraham Almonte to the disabled list likely ensures that Bradley Zimmer will continue to get regular playing time even if his slump continues, although he did finally pick up a hit in the month of August, so there is hope for a turnaround.
But the focus is on Miller and how he is used over the next six weeks, as Terry Francona has to properly manage the lefty to make sure he is fully healthy and also rested for the postseason.
The Indians still need to clinch that postseason berth, so even though he is coming off an injury, expect to see plenty of Miller in high-leverage situations until the division lead is high enough to get a bit comfortable.
And if it doesn’t, the normal workload will still continue, although the breakout of Tyler Olson does help Francona have some confidence in another bullpen arm. With Boone Logan injured, Olson has become the go-to for that LOOGY role.

Speculation is fun and also stressful, but fans can be a bit more confident in this team now that Miller is back. And with an important series against the Royals this weekend, he may be the difference in one or more games.
