MLB All-Star Game voting is underway and while several Cleveland Indians players may play in the game, only one player is a lock to represent the team.

The MLB All-Star Game is over two months away, but voting is officially open.

The Cleveland Indians have been sharing fan ballots all over social media, showing the loyalty Indians fans have to the players on the team.

But even though Terry Francona will be the manager for the American League side in the game, only one of his players is a sure thing to represent the Indians in Miami.

Francisco Lindor made the All-Star Game last year in his first full season with the Indians, and is on a clear path to make a return to the showcase.

He currently has a line of .306/.375/.622, but his most impressive stat is his seven home runs, which is good for first on the Indians.

Lindor has been the team’s most consistent hitter, and his rising star power that was built up during the World Baseball Classic will lead to him getting votes not just from Indians fans, but from baseball fans all over the country.

After Lindor, there isn’t any player who is a definite lock. Jose Ramirez is a clear favorite for Indians fans, but he is not as well-known as Lindor is outside of the city. But with Francona serving as the manager, it would be hard to argue if he added Ramirez. The stats would tell the story.

Another player who isn’t a definite lock but who should surely take part in the game is Andrew Miller. And at the same time, it would be hard to argue with keeping Cody Allen off the roster as well.

Both pitchers have been dominant to start the year, but have been limited due to the lack of situations in which they can come in and secure a victory.

So while Lindor may be the only Indians player voted in by the fans, the team is going to be well-represented at the 2017 All-Star Game. It makes sense to have several players from one of the best teams in the AL, and the Indians have finally reached that status after making it to the World Series a year ago.
