Cleveland Indians fans know about Francisco Lindor’s rising stardom, and it appears the Lindor fever is catching on outside of Northeast Ohio.

Francisco Lindor is a star and there is nothing anyone in MLB can do to slow him down.

Cleveland Indians fans have fallen for the young shortstop who has become the face of the franchise after one full season with the team.

A trip to Progressive Field will result in the sight of his name being worn all throughout the stands, and it appears that it may be seen outside of Cleveland as well.

It comes as no surprise that Lindor is climbing his way up the best-selling list, as his performance in the 2016 postseason showed fans all across the country and the world how great he is.

It is a welcome sight for Indians fans who haven’t seen a true superstar in town since the turn of the millennium, when the likes of Jim Thome, Manny Ramirez and Omar Vizquel suited up for the team.

It is still early in his career, but Lindor is primed to join the likes of those Indians greats.

Fans want to see him remain in Cleveland for a long time and may have been scared by the recent news that he turned down a major extension this offseason. However, he is still under team control for several years and knows he can wait to negotiate an even larger deal.

He isn’t going anywhere anytime soon and the team is not going to let him walk when the time does come for an extension, so there is no need to worry.

Lindor is already off to a great start in 2017 and his jersey sales will only continue to rise as the Indians continue to be one of the top teams in not only the American League, but all of baseball.
