Brandon Kintzler

Kintzler has been one of the Twins’ bright spots this year out of the bullpen, converting 12 of his 13 save attempts, while also compiling a 1.73 ERA in 41.2 innings. Kintzler is extremely efficient at keeping runners off the bases, as he has only given up three walks all year, which has lead to him having a 0.96 WHIP. The right-hander has appeared three times against the Indians this year, throwing 2.1 perfect innings with two strikeouts.

Max Kepler

Max Kepler is putting together a good case for AL Rookie of the Year, and a big reason for that has been his play against the Indians. Kepler has hit .333 against the Tribe, with five home runs and 11 RBIs. On the season Kepler is batting .254 with 15 home runs and 58 RBIs, and set the tone early the last time the two teams met, driving in a run before the fourth inning in three of the four games.
