The Cleveland Indians are trying to come out of the gate in the second half and establish themselves as a contender for the postseason. Two in a row is a nice start–but it was the Reds, and they’ve been unable to put together a long streak without following it with a losing streak. Even if the Tribe do come out hot, the team is cash strapped, and it would be difficult to envision them making any notable moves to improve the team.
