Lindor to Represent Indians Future in All-Star Exhibition

By now, we should all know the back story of Francisco Lindor and what he means to the future of the Cleveland Indians. The 20-year-old shortstop was taken in the 1st round of the 2011 MLB draft, one pick after Diamondbacks pitcher Archie Bradley and one pick before Cubs slugging shortstop Javier Baez. Already producing in Double-A at his tender age, Francisco Lindor earned his third nod for the All-Star Futures Game on Tuesday afternoon, as Major League Baseball announced the rosters for the 2014 game, set to be played at 5:00 PM EST at Target Field in Minneapolis on Sunday, July 13.

Lindor will represent the World team at the Futures Game, as the slick-fielding shortstop is a native of Puerto Rico. He will be the lone representative for the Indians in 2014, but fear not Tribe fans, the Indians are one of ten teams with just one representative in the 16th annual prospect spectacular.
