The Cleveland Guardians bested the Chicago White Sox on Thursday, and now they're just 1.5 games back from the Minnesota Twins for the top spot in the AL Central.

On Saturday they plan on rolling with Xzavion Curry as an opener, while the White Sox are starting Touki Toussaint, the former Guardians.

What does that mean for how we should bet on the game? Well, let's jump into it.

Guardians vs. White Sox odds, run line, and total

Guardians vs. White Sox prediction and pick

Touki Toussaint has not had success with the White Sox since being traded from the Guardians last month. He has allowed at least two earned runs in each game that he starts, including giving up five earned runs against the Mets on July 19th.

Now, he has to face a Guardians offense that's fifth in batting average (.275) and 10th in OPS (.771) over the last 30 days.

It's also worth noting that plenty of runs have been scored when Curry has been asked to serve as the opener. It hasn't necessarily been his fault, but the OVER has cashed each of the last two times he was an opener for the Guardians in a bullpen game.

That could be due to the Guardians ranking 22nd in bullpen ERA at 5.28 over the last 30 days. The White Sox bullpen hasn't been much better, coming in at 21st in bullpen ERA over the same time frame at 5.07.

The best thing to do in this one is to bet the OVER and root for plenty of offense.
