The Cleveland Guardians are just 3-7 in their last 10 games and have now fallen to 4.5 games back from the Minnesota Twins for the top spot in the American League Central.

They've already lost their weekend series against the Tampa Bay Rays, but they can soften the blow with a win today.

Let's take a look at the odds for the game and then I'll give you my best bet.

Guardians vs. Rays odds, run line, and total

Guardians vs. Rays prediction and pick

The total is set at a relatively low number of 7.5, but that's not going to scare me away from taking the UNDER. Tanner Bibee and Zach Eflin may not be the two names you think of when you think of the best pitchers in the American League, but they've both been posting some extremely solid numbers this season.

Bibee, in his first season in the Majors, has posted a 2.92 ERA in 18 starts so far. He's also coming off a 7.0 inning shutout performance in his last start, which led the Guardians to a 1-0 victory over the Blue Jays.

Eflin has also been hot lately, allowing just one earned run in his last 13.0 innings pitched.

The UNDER should also be aided by the fact neither offense has had their best stuff over the past month. The Rays rank 15th in OPS (.732) and the Guardians rank 22nd (.695) over the past 30 days.

It may not be extremely fun to bet the UNDER, but we're wagering to win and the best bet to place is the UNDER this afternoon.
