Pettiness has been taken to a new level by the Cleveland Guardians' High-A affiliate. Looking to contribute to the internet's widespread trolling of Chicago White Sox shortstop Tim Anderson following the events that transpired Saturday, the Lake County Captains are holding a Jose Ramirez Appreciation Week during their six-game set with the South Bend Cubs as posted on their Twitter account.

It's a pretty sweet deal at the end of the day. Is your name Tim? You will then get a free ticket to sit on the grass. Seems pretty appropriate considering that is where Anderson landed after Ramirez connected with a right hook. If you wear your Jose Ramirez jersey you will receive a free Bam Bam in the Cargo Hold. Additionally, they will hold a Home Run Punch Derby and a Punchout Competition in the arcade. Seems like there are plenty of ways for everyone in attendance to have fun.

This is a very enticing offer for those not able to make it to one of the Guardians' games taking place at home or if a weekend game works better for their schedule. Having appreciation/promotional nights such as this is what makes minor league baseball so fun. Make sure to have whichever version of the "Down Goes Anderson" shirt with you as well, under your Ramirez jersey of course. Being able to have a massive orchestrated troll job of a player who is not well-liked across Major League Baseball would be so, so perfect.
