Probable Starting Pitchers

The Guardians are set to have Hunter Gaddis start Game 2 while the Yankees are turning to their ace Gerrit Cole. Gaddis has been a pleasant surprise for Cleveland as they were in need of someone to step into the number two starter role vacated by the injured Triston McKenzie. Last time out Gaddis held the lowly Athletics to just one hit in six innings. While McKenize is progressing well, there is a reason to believe Gaddis will stick around in some capacity for the Guardians this season. Cole has been his usual dominant self as the Yankees ace has allowed just one run over his first 12.1 innings this season while striking out 19 batters. The Guardians will be tasked with solving one of the best pitchers in baseball, a task rarely accomplished.
