Who is the Guardians probable starting pitcher?

It will be Cal Quantrill taking the mound as the Guardians look to even the series against Los Angeles. Quantrill had his best start of the season last time out, allowing one hit in 7 innings against Minnesota. There have been times where Quantrill has been very hittable this season, allowing 11 runs in his first 15.2 innings before his prior best outing of the year against Detroit. Unfortunately this did not carry over as Quantrill was very hittable again, allowing five runs on eight hits in 3.1 innings against Colorado. The Guardians are hoping the better version of Quantrill shows up to give them a chance to win while the hittable version does not.

Who will the Guardians lineup face?

The Angels are starting Reid Detmers as they look to secure a series win. Cleveland will have their hands full with the second of three left-handers they will face this weekend. Detmers has three seven strikeout games to his name this season in addition to two games with six strikeouts and one with five. Like Quantrill, Detmers has also been hittable this season, allowing 26 hits in 26 innings. While Detmers' ERA is not great (5.10), it could be much worse considering five unearned runs have come across to score with him on the mound. The Guardians will have to take every unearned run they can get if they going to come out on top this time around.
