Probable Starting Pitchers

Cleveland will begin their first series with Detroit with Hunter Gaddis on the mound. Gaddis is coming off a lackluster performance which saw him allow eight runs on eight hits in just three innings against the Yankees. Through three starts Gaddis appears to be on an alternating good-game bad-game dynamic as he shut down the A's in Oakland before his implosion against New York. Facing Detroit should give Gaddis the opportunity to put together a good pitching line. The Tigers are turning to Matthew Boyd who has pitched decently in his first two starts. Boyd has limited Boston and Houston to four runs in 9 innings this season, the only issue is walks. The control issues from Boyd is exactly the type of thing this Guardians lineup can take advantage of.
