Probable Starting Pitchers

The Cleveland Guardians are having Peyton Battenfield make his third start of the season while the Colorado Rockies are going with Ryan Feltner for his fifth. Battenfield has looked impressive at times and his small sample size numbers wise show some promise. With only two runs allowed on seven hits in 10.2 innings in addition to his eight strikeouts, there is something there that Cleveland can work with until players return from the injured list, get called up, or Battenfield takes another step forward in his development. Feltner is coming off his best start of the season, shutting down the Phillies over 5.2 innings as he allowd just three hits and waked three others. This is in stark contrast to his first three starts which saw him get beat up pretty badly, allowing 13 runs on 15 hits and 11 walks in 13.1 innings. Cleveland is hoping this version of Feltner shows up and not the one from his last start in Philadelphia.
