Who is the Guardians probable starting pitcher?

Peyton Battenfield will be making his seventh appearance and sixth start overall as he is still looking for his first career win. At times Battenfield has looked to be a competent and serviceable pitching option and others not so much. Last time out the young righty was able to snap his streak of consecutive games in which he has allowed a home run, but allowed more than three runs for the second time this season. It may be another tough luck outing for Battenfield considering things really have not gone his way this season and the Guardians bats have only provided a total of five runs in games that he has pitched this season.

Who will the Guardians lineup face?

A familiar face will take the mound for the White Sox, MIke Clevinger. The former Cleveland rotation arm has struggled for the most part this season, with a 4.79 ERA with seven home runs allowed in 41.1 innings. Even though they were not able to take advantage of a struggling pitcher last night, Cleveland needs to take care of business against Clevinger Wednesday in order to avoid facing a sweep in the face for what seems like the 20th time this season (actually only four other times, but it seems like more).
