Probable Starting Pitchers

Cleveland's rotation has turned back over after some impressive debuts earlier this week and Shane Bieber gets the call in Boston. The Guardians have lost the last two starts from Bieber, with the pitcher taking the loss against Miami last Saturday. Bieber has allowed six runs on 13 hits in 11.2 innings over his last two starts, with walks (4) being an issue in against the Marlins. Cleveland is hoping that the former Cy Young Award Winner can tighten things up and put together a better outing. For Boston it is Nick Pivetta, who is as inconsistent as they come. Pivetta allowed just one run over his first two starts (10 innings), since then it has been nine runs in 9.2 innings. Surprisingly, Boston lost the games in which Pivetta pitched better and has won the games when it was a rough outing.
