Who is the Guardians probable starting pitcher?

Aaron Civale looks to continue his recent run of success as the Cleveland Guardians begin the second half the season. Civale has allowed just one run on five hits with 11 strikeouts in 13 innings during the month of July. While Texas presents a more difficult task than the Royals or Cubs, the hope is the confidence built up thorugh those starts carries over into Friday's start.

Who will the Guardians lineup face?

Texas will start Jon Gray against Cleveland. Gray's recent stretch of starts have mostly not gone well. The Rangers starter has given up 15 runs on 25 hits in 19.1 innings over four starts. An outlier start against the Yankees which Gray gave up just three hits including a solo home run in 5 innings makes this run seem a bit better than what it actually been. The Guardians want to see the version of Gray that has been very hittable and not the version prior which saw just one start of more than three runs given up.

Who is starting for the Guardians today?

LF Steven Kwan, SS Amed Rosario, 3B Jose Ramirez, 1B Josh Naylor, 2B Andres Gimenez, DH Josh Bell, RF Will Brennan, CF Myles Straw, C Bo Naylor
