Who is the Guardians probable starting pitcher?

It will be Aaron Civale making his final start before the All-Star break for Cleveland. Civale has been pretty impressive this season, with a 2.96 ERA and 1.182 WHIP in eight starts this season. SIx of Civale's eight starts have seen him limit opponents to two runs or less while giving up four runs each in the other two. The Guardians have alternated wins and losses in games started by Civale, and with a win in his last start it will be interesting to see if that trend continues.

Who will the Guardians lineup face?

Kansas City will be startigng Daniel Lynch in Friday's contest. Lynch has been solid more often than not, allowing three or fewer runs in six of his seven starts. But unlike Civale, Lynch was lit up by Cincinnati to the tune of seven runs on seven hits which included four home runs. Clevleand is hoping that version of Lynch shows up in order to have the best chance of winning.
