Logan Allen gets the call to make his second start after returning from Triple-A. The Royals gave him some trouble before being sent down as he needed 98 pitches to get throught 3.2 innings. The good news is that Allen is coming off a strong start in PIttsburgh. Allen shut down the Pirates, striking out eight over 5 innings while allowing just one hit and walking one. The young lefty will look to carry over that performance and avoid a similar outing to the last time he faced Kansas City.
