Carlos Carrasco gets the nod for the second game in Minnesota. Cookie made his return to Cleveland's rotation last week in Oakland, allowing three runs on six hits in 5 innings with three strikeouts and one walk in a 4-3 loss to the Athletics. It was not necessarily a great performance, but not a bad one either, as Carrasco pitched well enough to give the Guardians a chance to win.

Saturday's matchup with the Twins could be a chance for Carrasco to get his first win of the season. The 37-year-old veteran has been very successful in previous matchups, limiting the lineup to 14 hits in 72 at-bats. Notable batting lines include Max Kepler (7-34), Carlos Correa (3-13), and Byron Buxton (2-10).
