Who is the Cleveland Guardians probable starting pitcher?

Ben Lively will take the mound for the Cleveland Guardians as they look to complete the three-game sweep of the Kansas City Royals. Lively is coming off a rough outing, which saw him give up six runs on nine hits in 4.1 innings against Pittsburgh. While Cleveland did end up winning the contest 10-8, a better performance from Lively is going to be required moving forward.

This will be the second time Lively has started against Kansas City this season. Lively allowed just two runs on six hits in 5 innings back in June in a 2-1 loss to the Royals. Even though the result did not go Cleveland's way, a repeat of this performance would be more than welcome in Wednesday's series finale.

Who will the Cleveland Guardians lineup face?

Kansas City will be calling upon Seth Lugo in their quest to get back into the win column. Lugo's dominance on the mound continued to wane in the month of August, finishing with a 4.91 ERA in 36.2 innings, this included outings of four, five, and seven runs allowed. This is not to say the wheels have fallen off entirely, but Lugo has been a lot more hittable as of late when compared to his early season success.
