Who is the Cleveland Guardians probable starting pitcher?

Looking to put an end to their losing streak in Chicago and hoping to avoid a sweep at the hand of the White Sox, the Cleveland Guardians will start left-hander Logan Allen on Sunday. Allen is coming off his worst start of the season, giving up seven runs on seven hits in 2.1 innings during an 11-7 loss to the Detroit Tigers. This is not too dissimilar to his previous outing against the White Sox, as five runs on seven hits came across to score in Allen's 4 innings on the mound. Cleveland is going to need a much better outing from Allen if they are going to leave with Chicago with a win before continuing their road trip.

Who will the Cleveland Guardians lineup face?

Michael Soroka gets the nod for the Chicago White Sox for Sunday's contest. Soroka has been relatively unspectacular this season, compiling a 6.34 ERA and 1.591 WHIP in eight starts. This is not that far off from what he showed in eight starts for the Atlanta Braves last year, coming off missing two consecutive seasons.

This will be the second time that the Cleveland Guardians have faced Soroka this season. Cleveland scored four runs on four hits and three walks in Soroka's 3.2 innings on the mound but was unable to come away with a win as the White Sox were victorious by a score of 7-5.
