Brewers vs. Guardians prediction and pick
Despite the Brewers offense waking up in the first game of the series, I have no faith they'll keep that up based on their numbers over the past month.
They have, quite literally, been the worst offense in all of baseball over the last 30 days. They're 30th in OPS over that span at .630 while also hitting just .207. The Guardians are seventh and second in those two areas respectively, over the same time frame. They've been batting .284 which can only be beat by the Braves at .298.
Let's also remember how red hot Aaron Civale has been through hsi first six starts. He has an ERA of 2.67 while doing a great job of limiting damage. Lets hope for another solid start from him today.
Give me the Guardians to win both today's game and the series against the Brewers.
