4. Erick Fedde - Chicago White Sox
When it comes to players destined to be in a different uniform after the MLB Trade Deadline, Chicago White Sox pitcher Erick Fedde absolutely fits that description. The White Sox have been simply awful this season, and it would be in their best interest to trade away whoever they can to reset their major league roster and get ready for whatever their next competitive era is going to take place. That means trading away a surprisingly reliable arm in Fedde.
Fedde returned to Major League Baseball this season after pitching in Korea in 2023. Upon his return, Fedde has been significantly better than his previous time in the majors, sporting a 2.99 ERA and 1.132 WHIP with 8 strikeouts per nine innings. While there may be some concerns regarding the sustainability of his newfound success, it is hard to argue with results and the results are clearly there.
Even though Fedde is not the most attractive pitching on the trade market, or his own team for that matter, as that title belongs to Garrett Crochet, the Guardians could definitely use someone like him in their rotation.
