8. Brayan Rocchio, SS
For the second year in a row, the Guardians are set to enter the season hoping that Rocchio will be able to carry his postseason heroics over to the start of the next regular season.
It didn’t work last year when Rocchio hit just .165 through his first 35 games before being sent down to Triple-A.
He ended up hitting .257 after being recalled at the start of July, and ended the Guardians’ regular-season with a walk-off home run against the Rangers. He also added another home run in the Guardians’ lone postseason win.
Hopefully this is the year he can carry his “Rocctober” magic into the spring.
