Not bad at all.

7. Cedric Mullins, CF

Mullins has long stood out as the white whale for the Guardians’ fan base, and he’s set to be available as a free agent for the first time in his career. A former All-Star with the Orioles, he hasn't hit better than .235 over the past four seasons and just turned in the worst season of his career during his time with the Orioles and Mets.

While his rough string of recent play doesn’t inspire a ton of confidence, it means that he’s going to be a solid budget option, which could drop him into the Guardians’ price range (The Athletic’s Jim Bowden predicted last that week that Mullins will sign a one-year, $8 million).

The Guardians have a clear hole in center field, and Mullins is a solid bounce-back option to roll the dice on.
