6. Chase DeLauter, RF
After making his Major League debut during the Guardians’ postseason run, DeLauter should be on the Guardians’ Opening Day roster next year.
He seemed poised to make his MLB debut at some point during the regular season last year before his season was derailed by injuries.
While those injury struggles have become the story of his career, he has a chance to rewrite that story in 2026 with a strong showing.
There’s no way the Guardians right field situation can be worse than it was last season (Cleveland’s right fielders combined for a wRC+ of just 69 last season), but turning it over to DeLauter confirms that things will be better in 2026.
