Not bad at all.

2. Travis Bazzana, 2B

While Bazzana hasn’t made his MLB debut, he’s the Guardians’ top prospect and is the No. 17 prospect in all of baseball. And it’s clear that he should break camp with the Guardians’ big league club.

The Guardians are going to need to make some kind of decision about the future of their middle infield this offseason, and every decision should be made in the context of getting Bazzana to the bigs as soon as possible.

Although his .225 batting average in Triple-A doesn’t jump off the page, he still posted an .858 OPS in 26 games before suffering a season-ending oblique injury. He’s ready for big league pitching.

But that’s not enough. Not only should he be the Guardians’ starting second baseman against the Mariners, but he should be doing so with a brand-new extension that covers all of his arbitration-eligable years
