Who is the Cleveland Guardians probable starting pitcher?

After taking the first two games in Detroit, the Cleveland Guardians will have Luis Ortiz take the mound on Saturday night in an effort to secure a series win over the Tigers.

Ortiz has put together strong efforts in three of his last four outings, allowing three runs on 13 hits and six walks in 17.1 innings. The star,t which did not go particularly well for Ortiz, saw him allow five runs (six total) on five hits and three walks in 5.1 innings. Hopefully, Ortiz can channel the version of himself that limited the Minnesota Twins, Philadelphia Phillies, and Cincinnati Reds rather than duplicate his less-than-stellar outing against the Washington Nationals.

Who will the Cleveland Guardians lineup face?

Casey Mize gets the nod for Detroit, as the Tigers look to avoid losing three straight games to the visiting Cleveland Guardians. Mize last pitched for Detroit on May 8th, before landing on the injured list with a hamstring injury.

The 28-year-old has been pretty consistent this year for the Tigers, consistent in a way that he is more often than not allowing one or four runs in any given start. The last time Mize did not allow one or four runs to score was his first start of the season, which saw him one-hit the Seattle Mariners.
