Who is the Cleveland Guardians probable starting pitcher?

Slade Cecconi gets the nod for the Cleveland Guardians as they look to put Friday's 5-4 loss behind them. This will be Cecconi's Guardians debut after being acquired from the Arizona Diamondbacks this past offseason in exchange for Josh Naylor.

Cecconi has 27 major league games under his belt, 17 of which happened to be starts (including 13 last season for Arizona). The 25-year-old right-hander has a 6.06 ERA, 1.346 WHIP, and 7.3 K/9 ratio in 104 innings of work.

Cincinnati has had little trouble against Cecconi in the past, going 10-35 with three doubles and a home run in previous matchups. Will Benson leads the way with a 3-6 line, including a home run and a double, while Tyler Stephenson is also 3-5 with a double.

Who will the Cleveland Guardians lineup face?

Brent Suter has been named the starter for the Cincinnati Reds in what looks like a matchup play for the top of Cleveland's order. Normally coming out of Cincinnati's bullpen, the left-handed Suter will force Guardians manager Stephen Vogt to reconsider the top part of his lineup, but that all depends on how long he pitches on Saturday. Suter pitched 3 innings in his only other start of the season, and former Guardians manager Terry Francona might try to get a similar volume of innings from him in this outing as well.

Who is starting for the Cleveland Guardians today?

LF Steven Kwan, 3B Jose Ramirez, 1B Kyle Manzardo, DH Carlos Santana, SS Gabriel Arias, 2B Daniel Schneemann, CF Angel Martinez, C Bo Naylor, RF Nolan Jones
