The Cleveland Guardians are set to have rookie left-hander Doug Nikhazy make his Major League Debut in Game 2 of Saturday's doubleheader against the visiting Boston Red Sox. It was assumed that Nikhazy was originally called up to join Cleveland's bullpen, but with the weather not cooperating on Friday resulting in a postponement, he will now get a chance to show he belongs in their rotation.

Nikhazy posted a 3.44 ERA, 1.255 WHIP, and 10.8 K/9 ratio in four starts for Triple-A Columbus this season before being promoted to the major league roster.

Walker Buehler will start for Boston in the second part of Saturday's doubleheader. The 30-year-old has been steady over his last three starts for the Red Sox, allowing four runs on 11 hits in 18.1 innings.
