As we march on through spring training, there have been some bright spots within the Cleveland Guardians organization. Between veterans looking ready for the start of the regular season to emerging prospects looking to make a name for themselves, there has been plenty of excitement surrounding the Guardians.
They've had three hitters stand out among the others.
Note: All stats are entering play on Friday.
The Guardians' offense has been firing on all cylinders so far this spring
Petey Halpin
While most of the attention in the Guardians outfield this spring has been focused on Chase DeLauter, George Valera, Nolan Jones, and others, it's been center fielder Petey Halpin who has come out flying for Cleveland.
Through seven games, the 23-year-old is 5-for-12 at the plate with four runs scored. While he has only one home run, he's showcased his above-average speed with three steals. Halpin also has recorded three RBI this spring.
What's been great to see is that he's shown great plate discipline as well (four walks compared to three strikeouts).
While it is early in spring Training, Halpin's producton has been impressive for a guy who has never been a bat-first players.
While he still has some guys ahead of him on the depth chart, this early production could put him in a good spot to force some moves. Don't be surprised if he makes the MLB roster out of camp.
Chase DeLauter
It's no surprise that DeLauter has impressed so far this spring. But what makes his output even more impressive is that it's come in three games played. DeLauter's 5-for-8 at the plate with one home run and three RBI. He also has two doubles, showing off his great extra-base hit capabilities.
While he did have an injury scare early in camp, he has bounced back well and is showing why he will be a big part of the Guardians' outfield picture in 2026.
DeLauter's entering the 2026 season with some high expectations, but he'll be fun to watch this season so long as he's able to stay healthy.

Angel Martínez
Martínez has put together an impressive showing this spring despite still finding his footing in the outfield. Martínez has gone 7-for-16 at the plate with four doubles, two home runs, and two RBI in seven games so far this spring.
He's also shown good plate discipline with two walks compared to just one strikeout.
If Martínez continues to play well this spring well, there's a chance he could become a solid utility player for the Guardians or be one of the first call-ups from the Columbus when depth is needed. Either way, to have Martinez having a great start to the spring is a great sight to see.
While there are's three weeks to go before Opening Day, the Guardians' bats have been impressive so far this spring.
