3. Steven Kwan - Left Field

One of the most important Cleveland Guardians over the past few years has been left fielder Steven Kwan. Batting atop the order, Kwan sets the table for the hitters that follow him in the lineup, so it is absolutely crucial to Cleveland's early season success to come out of the gate on a good note.

With 15 hits in 43 at-bats, Kwan has posted the best batting average (.349) among what should be Cleveland's most frequently used players in 2025. Of Kwan's 15 hits in Arizona, he has two doubles and one home run, showing that he is ready to provide the threat of an extra-base hit at the top of the Guardians' batting order.

Kwan is coming off an abbreviated 2024 campaign, appearing in just 122 games, the fewest in his career up to this point. Even though he did miss time, Kwan was still a productive bat for the Guardians, slashing .292/.368/.425 with 16 doubles and a career-high 14 home runs en route to a career-best 126 OPS+. Should Kwan stay healthy in 2025 and his power continue to develop, it would not be surprising to see him easily surpass the 14-home run mark and set a new career-best.
