With Nolan Jones being added to the list, the Guardians now have eight players in MLB Pipeline’s top 100.

The Cleveland Guardians’ minor-league system is officially loaded.

MLB Pipeline, as it often does throughout the season, has updated its list of the top 100 prospects in baseball, and the Guardians are now represented by eight players: pitcher Daniel Espino (#11), outfielder George Valera (#32), pitcher Gavin Williams (#78), shortstop Gabriel Arias (#80), infielder Brayan Rocchio (#85), infielder Tyler Freeman (#86), pitcher Logan Allen (#99), and infielder/outfielder Nolan Jones (#100).

The Dodgers and Rangers are right behind the Guardians with six prospects each on the list, while the Pirates, Orioles and Yankees all have five players a piece.

Jones, who is now up with the major-league team and is currently off to a scorching start to his career, likely won’t be on the list long, but it’s still a testament to the strength of the Guardians’ organization to have more players on this list than any other team in baseball.

As for the other names mentioned, Arias made his major-league debut this season, while Freeman looks to be one of the next position players who could get called up to Cleveland at some point this summer.
