As we enter the month of November, it’s time to make a way-too-early 2021 opening day lineup prediction for the Cleveland Indians.

November is upon us and for the Cleveland Indians‘ front office. This month will likely be the one to decide whether they will push their club for a title run in 2021 or kickoff an inevitable rebuilding process.

Star shortstop Francisco Lindor will be a free agent at seasons’ end while Jose Ramirez will be a free agent after the 2022 season. To make matters more complicated, the team is set to lose AL save leader Brad Hand, and first basemen Carlos Santana in free agency.

Thus, the Indians must decide whether or not to trade Lindor, Ramirez or both and whether or not to add any external talent to a relatively young offensive club to help compliment a loaded starting pitching staff.
With so many possibilities, here’s what Terry Francona’s opening day line up card might look like based on some early offseason predictions for the Tribe.
