Where do the Cleveland Indians rank in the latest MLB power rankings? We roundup their rankings from several different media outlets.

The Cleveland Indians have completed over a third of the condensed 2020 season as they stand at 13-9 through their first 22 games.

If the season ended today, the Indians would make the postseason as the AL Central’s second-place finisher. They sit just one game behind the Minnesota Twins for first place in the central as the Tribe look to win their fourth division title in five seasons.

This past week, the Indians put together a 3-2 record after they were swept in a mini two-game series by the Chicago Cubs but then went to Detroit and swept a three-game set from the Tigers to extend their franchise long winning streak over Detroit to 20 games.

The team was also forced to deal with their fair share of drama as they decided to demote starting pitchers Mike Clevinger and Zach Pleasac after they broke the team’s curfew amid the COVID-19 pandemic to attend a social gathering last weekend.

Both pitchers drove from Cleveland to Detroit to rejoin and apologize to their team, but after their  teammates remained angry and reliever Oliver Perez threatened to opt-out if the two weren’t demoted, they were sent to the alternate training site in Lake County.

Despite a whirlwind of a week, the Indians still rank among the top 10 teams’ in baseball in numerous weekly power rankings released Monday.
