It’s February folks, that means it’s officially Spring Training month. Let us come out of our sadness shells and enjoy the impending return of Cleveland Indians baseball.

I hope you’re all staying warm as this polar vortex comes winding down. Think those wonderful warm Spring Training thoughts in your mind, because pitchers and catchers report soon enough!

If you need more reasons to get excited, we’re here to remind you that yesterday was “truck day” for the Cleveland Indians. The Tribe has packed up their belongings to head for the greener (or sandier) pastures of Goodyear, Arizona.

Alas, “truck day” is the biggest news we’ve gotten as the Indians haven’t made any signings and don’t intend to. But I will not play the role of Scrooge in this wonderful month. At this point, we know that if the Indians make any moves, it will likely be at the deadline as they tend to do.

We do have some decent news, depending on what side of the Corey Kluber fence you’re on. The Indians are reportedly “less likely” to trade Kluber. While the trade talks are supposedly dwindling, down, it’s looking like the two-time Cy Young winner will be our ace once again this season.

An interesting piece of the Indians bullpen is the sidewinder, Adam Cimber. He has a chance to step up in a huge role this year and be a critical piece of the Indians bullpen. But Merritt Rohlfing explains that the Tribe should exercise patience with Cimber. There is no reason to just throw him out there and kill his confidence.

You can practically taste baseball season around the corner. That is if your tongue is not frozen along with the rest of the midwest. Stay warm, Cleveland.
