As you would expect news about the Cleveland Indians involves mostly rumors about trades and a lack of action. Be we shall persist by waiting patiently!

Another week means another barrage of tweets from Jon Morosi or Ken Rosenthal or every MLB insider about how the Cleveland Indians will continue to shop their starting pitchers. That trend continues today it would seem.

This morning Ken Rosenthal of the Athletic reported that the Indians are listening to a potential three-way trade between the Padres, Reds, and the Tribe that involves Corey Kluber. Supposedly the Padres are looking to flip Kluber for a third baseman. That third baseman is likely the Reds top prospect Nick Senzel.

Personally, I think this deal sounds absurd. I don’t think the Padres could offer the Indians anything worth the loss of Corey Kluber. While I don’t want to see Kluber go, if it has to happen, I’d like a little more in return.

Now for some positive news! I finally got all of my new holiday purchases in and that includes all of the new Indians gear. The new jerseys and new hat arrived and I did a video review of them. You can check that out to see if you’re interested in getting yourself one. They keep growing on me every day.

We did have some interesting news in the case of Trevor Bauer and his Arbitration. He will once again be going to court to try and win himself an extra two minutes. Whether he gets it or not will remain to be seen. But the guys at Let’s Go Tribe broke it down nicely for anyone who needs a better understanding of how that situation works.

This last month before Spring Training could be a busy one. We’re going to find out a lot about what this team is going to look like come the 2019 season. I don’t know if I’m ready for it.
