The weekend is over, but let’s not be too sad. We’re just another week closer to Spring Training! Hopefully, the Cleveland Indians will make the most of things.

Welcome back from your weekend Tribe fans. For a lot of you, you may have been able to experience Tribe Fest. I wish I could’ve been there to see it and again, I implore you to share any pictures you may have from the event on Facebook or Twitter.

As for what’s happening with the Cleveland Indians, Tribe Fest didn’t reveal too much. But we did have the whole deal with arbitration for some players. While the Cleveland Indians reached a deal with Francisco Lindor, they were unable to do so with Trevor Bauer. This was somewhat expected as negotiating with Bauer doesn’t seem like an easy task. But if you want to read about some of that, Let’s Go Tribe did a great job breaking down the situation.

Some news about our oft-mentioned pitchers that everyone wants to talk about trading, Trevor Bauer had an interesting media day. He answered just two questions before leaving the interview once his Twitter war was brought up. While we didn’t get much information out of our ever-outspoken pitcher, we know that he’s not one to discuss what he does on social media.

Our own Bruce Porter took the time to put up his first piece as a member of the Believeland Ball team. It’s not too long and a fun read to introduce a new writer for us. He discusses the current state of the Indians infield and how he views the situation with the team is going into 2019

It could be a long week but I find myself getting really excited for Spring Training. That time has almost come. Until then, go Tribe.
