The Cleveland Indians are looking to even the ALDS this afternoon in Houston. Be sure to take part in our live game thread throughout the game.

It isn’t time to panic just yet as the Cleveland Indians can pick up a big win this afternoon and even the series against the Houston Astros.

It won’t be easy against Gerrit Cole, but it will never be easy in general this time of year. There are simply no excuses to be made.

The Indians are keeping things the same in terms of the starting lineup:

Carlos Carrasco is on the mound and hopefully Terry Francona doesn’t hesitate to go to the bullpen if things start to go south. There is nothing wrong with letting pitchers work through things in the regular season, but there is no time to take chances with a 1-0 series deficit.

Just as with Game 1, we want this post to serve as a place for Indians fans to chat with each other throughout the game. Just scroll to the bottom of the post and leave a comment to get the conversation going. Hopefully things can be a bit more positive compared to yesterday.

This will certainly be a nerve-wracking game to watch if the bats are quiet early. Getting some hits and runs early can help ease our collective stress while also giving the offense some confidence. Let’s see some smiles in the dugout again.

What needs to change from Game 1. dark. Next

I am once again going to predict an Indians victory. Let’s say…4-3. A nice, stress-filled nail-biter of a victory. What is your prediction for the game? Let us know in the comments section below.
