Storylines

The winds of trade are blowin’

With the trade deadline less than 24 hours away, you can expect to hear plenty of rumors attached to players and teams all around baseball. The Indians are still in the market for an outfielders and potentially another arm. The acquisitions of Adam Cimber and Brad Hand have proven to really help the Tribe bullpen. Now adding a righty in the outfield could really give the Indians some momentum.

Worse/Best case scenario

Worse case: 1-2 series loss

The Minnesota Twins have been one of the few teams to give the Indians consistent trouble this year. They aren’t even an AL Powerhouse, nor playoff contenders but division play can always be tough. The Twins have some good arms and if they aren’t dealt, they could prove to be a challenge for the Indians to hit.

Best case 3-0 series win

The Cleveland Indians could use a sweep in this series. The Twins still see themselves as playoff contenders for the reason that they have a winning record against the Indians. For the Wahoos a sweep would even the season series and give them a 12-game lead over these Twins.

Cleveland should take this series on paper but the Twins never make it easy. It starts tonight at 8:10 and continues on until Wednesday afternoon.
