Pitchers and catchers report to camp in just over one week, giving the Cleveland Indians one final stretch to make a move to bolster the roster.
It is once again snowing in Cleveland as we sit just over one week out from the unofficial start of the baseball season.
The pitchers and catchers report to camp in Goodyear next Wednesday, while the rest of the group reports next Sunday. That has left fans in a holding pattern, doing things like tracking the movement of a truck.
They made it!
Oh, hey Arizona. The truck is in Phoenix.

The recent signing of Todd Frazier by the New York Mets show that this offseason is one where players will continue to be signed late and potentially right up to Opening Day. This allows the Indians to still make a move or two, perhaps to strengthen the bullpen, later in the year than what most are used to.
We have brought up a name like Peter Moylan here on the site, while we have also discussed the possibility of internal options being the route the team chooses to save money with the rising payroll.
Trying to predict how this offseason will go has been frustrating, so thankfully it is over soon. We can go back to arguing over the players actually on the team instead of getting mad about those who sign elsewhere.

Can Giovanny Urshela get the bat going?
Do they need to trade a starting pitcher?
The odd 2018 market
#Mets in agreement with free-agent 3B Todd Frazier on two-year, $17M contract, sources tell The Athletic. Pending a physical.

Any other offseason may have seen Todd Frazier make double or even triple of what he will make with this new contract.
This will help agents and the Players Association build claims of collusion, but monster deals for Bryce Harper and Manny Machado next year can change that narrative. Maybe everyone is just saving up.
Seems like a fun job

Working for the Indians social media team seems quite relaxing when you take away all the insane comments from followers.
Stay warm
We are over a week out from some live shots of Indians players playing catch in Goodyear. It’s cold in Cleveland and the news cycle is about dead.
Next: 5 best trades since 2000
Stay warm out there.
