The NFL season is now over meaning it is time for Cleveland Indians fans to focus on the upcoming season that begins in Goodyear.

Cleveland sports fans have to watch other NFL teams to get joy from the sport, but the end of the season means it is now time to focus on the Cleveland Indians and baseball season.

The Cavaliers are still playing, but things aren’t exactly going well.

The Indians report to camp in under two weeks and the team plays its first exhibition game on February 23. And it will be televised! Baseball is coming.

Some actual baseball to talk about will help break up what has been a historically boring offseason, filled with more talk of grievances than actual moves. The Indians did add Yonder Alonso, so at least something was done to make up for the departures of Carlos Santana, Jay Bruce, Bryan Shaw and Joe Smith.

Even though the weather remains miserable, the Indians do begin the regular season at the end of March. We have all waited this long. Another few cold months should fly by.
