Cleveland Indians shortstop Francisco Lindor is a rising star in Major League Baseball and has recently been named a video game cover athlete.

The Cleveland Indians haven’t had a true superstar in quite some time. Rising star Francisco Lindor seems ready to assume the role.

Lindor has only played in two full MLB seasons, but is already a two-time All-Star, has received a Gold Glove and has earned a Silver Slugger Award.

The doom of whether or not the team will be able to sign Lindor long-term will continue to hang over the team until a move is or isn’t made, but he isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. So for now, we can all enjoy the rising star in front of our eyes.

Lindor’s star power has now landed him on the cover of a video game.

I have never personally played RBI Baseball, being a Show guy myself, but perhaps I’ll have to now that Lindor is on the cover.

He seems to be excited about it, showing off the charisma that has made him so likable.

For years, Indians fans have bought baseball video games with covers featuring star players from all over the league. Seeing one of our own on the cover of a game is something special.

It shows just how talented Lindor is and how he has made a name for himself across the league in such a short amount of time. Being in the national spotlight in October helps too.

Lindor is just at the beginning of what is looking to be a truly special career, so there should be many more video game covers to come.
