Cleveland Indians fans can start planning out when and how to watch the team in 2018 as the season schedule is now out with times and broadcast information.

Cleveland Indians fans knew the regular season started on March 29, but things became a bit more official on Wednesday.

That’s right fellow Indians fans, start planning your excuses to avoid awkward hangouts because now all 162 games in 2018 have official starting times.

The Indians get off to a late start in the season opener in Seattle, but I’m sure fans will be up with excitement on that Thursday night. It’s also the Easter holiday weekend, so perhaps you’ll have that Friday off in order to rest after seeing that first game in 2018.

Being a top team in the league also means the Indians will be shown to a national audience all season long.

The game on May 20 will be the Sunday night game for the week, pitting the Indians against the defending champions. Maybe a matchup of past champion and future champion?

Then there are two games against the Chicago Cubs both on ESPN, which will surely be miserable experiences for Indians fans as the announcers continually bring up the 2016 World Series. But some national exposure is never a bad thing.

Having the times out doesn’t change much, but it is nice for fans who can start planning trips or casual excuses to miss work on some Thursday afternoons throughout the year.
