The Cleveland Indians haven’t made many changes this offseason, leaving room open for some young players to take advantage of opportunities in 2018.
Another frigid morning, another day closer to the start of the 2018 Cleveland Indians season.
We are currently unveiling our Top 25 Indians in 2017 list here on the site, but I posed a question on Twitter yesterday that received interesting results.
The question, in poll form:
I find polls interesting because there are a few individuals out there convinced that Greg Allen is poised for a breakout year. I love the optimism and the fact there is some faith in all four of these players.
Mike Clevinger as the top choice seemed like a no-brainer to me, as I expect him to be a part of the rotation for the entire season. We will have a post on that exact topic up on the site in just over an hour.
The fact Francisco Mejia received a quarter of the votes is also interesting to see, as some Indians fans are convinced that the top prospect can produce if given the chance. The only problem is the fact both Yan Gomes and Roberto Perez remain on the roster. Is a trade on the horizon?
Be sure to look out for some more polls on our Twitter account as we look to keep some Indians-related conversations going as we await the start of Spring Training.

Try to stay warm and think about how close Spring Training is to getting underway. Thoughts of Arizona should help keep you warm, at least in spirit.
