2018 is finally here and we are prepared to provide some great Cleveland Indians coverage here at Believeland Ball as the team chases a championship.

A new year is upon us and that is good news for Cleveland Indians fans.

We can all collectively look ahead toward the upcoming season, and begin to build up those expectations.

I wanted to write a quick post at the start of the year to welcome readers to a new year here at Believeland Ball, while also explaining our content plan for 2018.

This post serves as the first regular 9 a.m. post of the year. We plan on starting your morning off right with a quick story and a roundup of some other Indians stories from around the web.

This will not follow a strict model, as we want to leave open some room for creativity as the year goes on.

The goal with this is to ensure that readers know that a new post will be available every weekday morning. So if you get to work at 9 a.m. and want to avoid doing actual work, make sure to stop here first and join in on some Tribe talk.

We will be starting the year off with a look back at the top 25 Indians players from 2017, while February will bring a look at our top prospect countdown. And before we know it, the end of March will be here and the team will be playing a meaningful baseball game.

Hopefully this year will end with a better final result, but for now we can get excited about the return of Indians baseball.
