Cleveland Indians second baseman Jason Kipnis wrote an amazing article that should get all Indians fans excited for the 2017 season.
If you weren’t already excited for the Cleveland Indians to begin the season today, Jason Kipnis wrote an article that should help.
Kipnis may be beginning the season on the DL, but that doesn’t mean he isn’t excited for his team to make another push toward a World Series title.
He made that clear in his article on The Players’ Tribune.
After a heartbreaking World Series defeat, @Indians star @TheJK_Kid is ready to turn the page. https://t.co/fDvoJywAz3

I won’t even quote anything from the article here because it needs to be read in its entirety.
Kipnis explains the pain of losing the World Series after holding a 3-1 lead, and gives fans an inside look at his mindset heading into 2017.
Being a sports fan is an interesting endeavor. Our emotions are directly impacted by the play of the team, and we just want players to feel the same way. Kipnis makes it clear that him and his teammates do care, which is all we can ask for as Indians fans.
He also calls for fans to pack Progressive Field throughout the season, which has been a problem throughout the past decade. We won’t get into all the factors of why attendance has been down, but it should be up this year based on how well the team did a season ago.

Hype videos are fun, but Kipnis does an amazing job of using his words to get fans excited for the season. It begins soon, so prepare yourself for what will surely be a wild ride.
