FanSided site App Trigger recently did a MLB The Show 17 simulation for the entire MLB season, and the Cleveland Indians fall short of the ultimate prize.

2017 MLB season previews are nearly behind us as the season begins this Sunday, but a new style of preview was recently done by Daniel George of App Trigger.

He previewed the entire MLB season using MLB The Show 17, and it provided both good and bad news for Cleveland Indians fans.

The entire preview is a fun read, but let’s take a look at the highlights when it comes to the Indians:

Not a bad outlook for 2017, although the simulation goes on to provide less than ideal results in the postseason.

The simulation has the Indians being swept by the Boston Red Sox in the ALCS, dashing the hopes of a dream season. But don’t let this get you down, as it’s just a game.

This preview will hardly serve as bulletin board material for the 2017 Indians, but it is fun regardless.

This entire preview is interesting and is something that all baseball fans should check out. It details some interesting trades that could go down during the year, along with some surprise teams along the way.

Next: Previewing the starting rotation

The Indians may not come out on top in the game’s mind, but they have a great chance to prove the game wrong in reality.
